week 50: nice finds Bachmanstraat, The Hague

Our office is currently supervising the renovation and restoration of a mansion in the Bachmanstraat in The Hague.
This stately building from the thirties of the last century still appears to have many authentic details that we uncover and bring back during the restoration.
In doing so, we peel off the history and sometimes come across special details. For example, the room numbers from the time when it was found as a guesthouse were found after the plating of the panel doors was removed.
The client is so enthusiastic about this that these numbers will be restored and will soon adorn the restored panel doors.
