week 50: completion of Hemhof homes, Roelofarendsveen
This week, the seven new senior citizens' homes at Hemhof in Roelofarendsveen were successfully completed. Designed by MW architecture, these unique CPO homes mark an important milestone in the project.
To celebrate this happy moment, the residents enjoyed a festive communal lunch. Now that the keys have been handed over, residents are busy personalising their homes through painting, carpentry and painting.
In spring, construction of the spacious communal garden is planned, provided by gardener Thijs van Berkel.
MW architecture has also provided seven houses for animals, which may soon allow wrens, sparrows, swifts, bats, hedgehogs, toads, frogs and bees to take up residence in this special area.
